The first quarter of 2025 saw interesting trends among Nigeria's top food delivery apps, based on data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at their performance on a unified platform.

Chowdeck | Food Delivery began the quarter with a high number of weekly downloads, starting at approximately 47.8K. However, this number fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking again at 41K in mid-March. Meanwhile, weekly active users rose steadily from around 264K to over 314K by the end of March.

Glovo: Food & Grocery Delivery showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at 17.3K and climbing to over 30.5K by the last week of March. Active users also experienced a positive trend, growing from 284K to nearly 298K.

FoodCourt: Food Delivery+ had a less volatile download pattern, with numbers mostly staying within the range of 2.7K to 7.3K. Data on active users was not available for this period.

MANO food & products delivery experienced a gradual decline in downloads, starting from 4.8K and ending around 2.2K. The app's active user base, however, showed a slight increase from 11.3K to 15K over the quarter.

Finally, Fast Fast: Food Delivery had a brief spike in downloads reaching 7.9K in late February, but numbers dwindled to zero by the end of March. Active user data was not available for this app.
